A brief history of the Chicago & North Western Iowa Division mainline, now part of the Overland Route:

06/16/22

This standard through girder bridge crosses Mill Creek parallel to US-30 in Dunlap.
Built in 1914, the bridge consists of a single more modern looking through girder span, set onto concrete abutments.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair condition. Some structural deterioration has begun to appear on the bridge.

The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
